While we often film on our doorstep in the UK, we specialise in travelling anywhere in the world to tell our client’s stories.
Often travelling as a lone filmmaker, professionally representing our client, we keep our carbon footprint and travel costs to a minimum.

Remote Film
During the global pandemic, we were forced to innovate and produce much of our content by recording online calls.
We’ve developed this further by adopting the latest remote capture technology to tell stories without the need for travel.
Our innovative process of preparing the interviewee for the remote capture helping them with lighting, sound and delivery before the recording results in the best possible production.
Remote filming is particularly popular for quickly and cost-effectively capturing client testimonials all over the world.

Who we are
Storyhouse Films was founded in 2010 by documentary photographer, Chris Nelson.
This was a disruptive time in the film industry when the professional cameras that had been used for photography gained the ability to shoot video.
A revolution followed which Chris embraced and has been telling amazing stories though film, all over the world, ever since.
Collaborating with editors, producers and animators, we can adapt to the requirements of any project but still specialise in productions with a small physical and environmental footprint.
Our vast experience gained over the past 13 years enables us to represent our clients with professionalism and be trusted to deliver powerful storytelling films.
